It's a long way to get there and it's pretty basic when you do but the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere is great. Living by candlelight adds a different dimension. The staff were lovely, best food of the holiday: healthy, beautifully presented and plenty of it.

Fabulous lodge and location with easy access to so much wildlife and birds. Macaw clay lick was spectacular, saw monkeys (spices), caiman,sloth,bats,snake,squirrel,capibara,agouti,but no otters ,tapirs, cats.

I thought this place was going to have the best accommodation but was a bit let down by the rooms, you are cut off from the outside when you are in your room because of blinds and although the dining and large sitting area is very impressive you feel cut off from the wildlife because you can't observe it easily from a comfortable chair. Food was the best of all the 3 lodges. The Mackaw clay lick was the highlight of the trip. Shame we never saw one Giant Otter or a Wooley monkey.
