Arrive In Delhi
Arrive at Delhi airport, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax after your journey.
Day 2
Delhi Tour, On To Agra
You have a guided tour of Delhi this morning before being driven to Agra, a journey of about three hours. On arrival you check in to your hotel. If time permits you will visit the Taj Mahal at sunset. It is a lovely time to see this phenomenal building.

Day 3
Taj Mahal & Agra
Rise early to visit the beautiful Taj Mahal at sunrise. Watch as the light changes and enjoy the this famous site before the main crowds arrive. Return to your hotel for breakfast, followed by a tour of Agra Fort and the Baby Taj. In the afternoon you will be driven to Chambal, about 90 minutes.

Day 4
Chambal Safari Lodge
Enjoy a safari on the Chambal River this morning. This is one of the last surviving refuges for the critically endangered gharial and is also one of the best places in India to see the rare Gangetic River Dolphin. The banks of the river are home to many resident and migratory birds. You may also see turtles and marsh mugger crocodiles. The afternoon is free.

Day 5
Chambal & Overnight Train From Agra
The morning is for you to simply enjoy being at Chambal. In the afternoon you are driven to Agra railway station, a journey of around 90 minutes. Here you board the overnight Gondwana Express train to Katni.

Day 6
Bandhavgarh
Your train is scheduled to reach Katni early in the morning. You are met at the station and transferred to your hotel at Bandhavgarh, about a three hour drive. After lunch, enjoy an exciting game drive in the national park. This is your first opportunity to look for tigers as well as the wealth of other wildlife for which the park is known. Return to your hotel in time for dinner.

Bandhavgarh
Today you have morning and afternoon game drives. As well as the famous tigers, Bandhavgarh has a wide range of other mammal species such as sambar deer, chital (spotted deer), muntjac and the four-horned antelope. Nilgai (blue bull), the largest Asian antelope, and chinkara (the Indian gazelle) can be sighted in the open grasslands and, if lucky, you may even spot a leopard.

Bandhavgarh
A second day of game drives in Bandhavgarh. As well as the animal life, the park teems with both migratory and resident bird species including the fast vanishing vultures in India - the white back, long billed, king and the Egyptian.

Day 9
Road and Train To Satpura National Park
After breakfast, transfer by road to Katni for the train to Pipariya, arriving in the early evening. You will be driven to your lodge in Satpura which is approximately a one hour ride.

Day 10
Satpura National Park
You have morning and afternoon activities in Satpura National Park, which might include guided walks as well as game drives. This is a great place to experience Indian wildlife in a relatively small, wild setting. There are big cats and sloth bears and this is also a good place for seeing leopards, wild dogs and jackals. The birding in the national park and the surrounding area is also excellent.

Satpura National Park
Another day of jungle activities in the park led by a naturalist guide. There are also several hides inside the national park and a treetop viewing platform inside the lodge grounds, a great place for birdwatching. The variety of activities within Satpura National Park is unique within Indian parks, with guided canoeing, kayaking and horse riding also available.

Day 12
Satpura, Flight To Mumbai & Depart
Enjoy a choice of jungle activities this morning before departing the lodge for Bhopal airport, a drive of some four hours and the evening flight to Mumbai. On arrival you will be transferred to the international airport for your onward flight connection.
