Tiger & Taj

Do you want the chance to see tigers in the wild, as well as other incredible Indian wildlife, but also to include seeing the iconic Taj Mahal? Well, you might just have found your perfect holiday!

We take you on a tour of the bustling capital, Delhi, and an unforgettable sunrise visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal. You might think that would hard to top and you'd be right, but we'll try.

Next we take you to one of the very best Indian parks, Bandhavgarh, for two and a half days. This will give you a high chance of seeing tigers. Tribes director, Guy Marks, checked out all the main tiger parks and Bandhavgarh and Kanha came out very strongly. But of course it is not just tigers, you will see a wide range of mammals, reptiles and primates plus many varieties of birds.

In Chambal you'll enjoy a gentle cruise along the river. This is a rich ecosystem where we hope to show you the endangered gharial, marsh mugger crocodiles, and the gorgeous Gangetic river dolphin.

Satpura National Park has more limited development and fewer visitors so it retains a more intimate atmosphere. Here you'll have the opportunity to explore on foot with your expert naturalist guide, take a guided canoe trip or maybe go horse riding.
