Day 1

Cuiaba To Southwild Pantanal

Arrive at Cuiaba airport, where you will be met and depart for the SouthWild Pantanal Lodge at Fazenda Santa Tereza, with various stops en-route, lunch will be provided. You should reach the lodge by 19:00, in time for dinner.

Day 2

Southwild Pantanal To Southwild Jaguar Flotel

An early departure from the lodge in an open safari truck to reach Porto Jofre by 10:00. Here you board manoeuvrable boats for the upstream journey into the heart of Jaguar Zone to SouthWild Jaguar Flotel, where lunch is served. Then it's time for your first boat excursion in search of the wildlife of the Pantanal. Back on board settle in, this is your home for the next four nights.

Days 3 & 4

Southwild Jaguar Flotel

Two full days of boat rides to search for jaguars and giant otters. Each day will include up to eight hours of searches and observation in radio-equipped motorboats between 06:00 and 18:00. Uniquely, the jaguars along this stretch of the river have become accustomed to boats and are habituated to the presence of humans. The Cuiaba River is also home to large family groups of giant otters and the riverbanks teem with birds and monkeys and there are countless capybara and caimans to be seen.

Day 5

Last Day At Southwild Flotel

You have one last day to enjoy searching for the stunning Pantanal wildlife based from your floating accommodation. Each boat trip is different, who knows what you will encounter today? Tonight enjoy your final meal with fellow guests and reminisce about your time in the magical Pantanal.

Day 6

Southwild Pantanal

Have an early breakfast and check out of Jaguar Flotel. Transfer back to SouthWild Pantanal in the open safari truck. Enjoy afternoon activities at SouthWild Pantanal. You have the chance to take boat rides on the Pixaim River, hike on forest trails, view the Pantanal from observation towers and to go horse riding through fields and forests, as agreed with your guide.
