The highlight will undoubtedly be the days spent on the river seeking out jaguars, but you also have time to take forest hikes, climb observation towers and go horse riding through fields and forest. the Jaguar Flotel is on the Cuiaba River about an hour away from Porto Joffre. It is in the heart of jaguar-spotting territory and the odds of seeing jaguars here at very high!
It's not just jaguars though. Giant otters are commonly seen here and they too are usually very hard to find, so this is a real treat. In addition you'll see capybaras, caiman, the rare hyacinth macaws and hopefully many other species.
You will have a dedicated English-speaking guide throughout the trip, helping you make the very best of your time in this unique environment.
