Open: Letaka run their mobile itineraries throughout the year on set departure dates. Private departures can be arranged.
Location: The safaris cover all the main areas in northern Botswana; Moremi, Mababe, Savute, Chobe, Central Kalahari, Nxai Pan, Makgadikgadi Pan, Okavango Panhandle, Lake Ngami.
Rooms: The scheduled departures operate with a maximum of 7 guests. The spacious 4m x 3m sahara style tents have solid base camp beds with mattresses, sheets, duvets and pillows. The en-suite has a bucket shower and long-drop toilet. To the front you have a shaded 2m x 3m veranda with camping chairs.
Activities: Activities depend upon where you safari is routed. It may include game drives, night drives, walking safaris and mokoro excursions. Detail will be given with your itinerary.
Facilities: There is a main mess tent where meals are taken and a camp fire is lit each night. Vehicles are fitted with battery chargers for photographic equipment.
Dining: Meals are eaten as a group.
Children: Children aged 12 and over are welcome on scheduled departures. Younger guests can be accepted on private departures where there is a family tent available sleeping 4.
Health: This is a malaria area.
Communication: There is no mobile phone or internet access on a mobile safari.
