Terma Linca has a wonderfully peaceful location on the Wangchhu (Thimphu River) surrounded by paddy fields and with a backdrop of mountains, yet is just a few minutes drive from the city. The hotel is built and decorated in minimalistic style but provides all the creature comforts expected of a modern luxury hotel.

There are 30 rooms and suites situated in 3 separate buildings along the banks of the river. The rooms are spacious and all have large windows looking out over the river and en-suite bathrooms with separate bathtub and shower. The interiors are sleek and stylish. Amenities include TV and wifi.

The spa is set in a separate building and offers a wide range of treatments and activities including hot stone bath, massage, yoga and meditation. There is also a gym, sauna, steam room and a reading room.

Aie's Restaurant occupies a prime position with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the river. It serves a multi-cuisine meals, including traditional Bhutanese. Ara Bar, located beneath the restaurant, has similarly impressive views and is a great place for guests to relax after a busy day exploring the city and the Thimphu Valley.
