Specifications: Evolution is a 192 foot cruise ship built in a 1920s style. She has a cruising speed of 10-12 knots. 

Cabins: Evolution has 3 suites, 8 premium staterooms and 5 deluxe staterooms, accommodating a maximum of 32 passengers. These are spacious and air conditioned. All have private bathrooms. 

Facilities & Crew: Evolution has a lounge with a bar and facilities for lectures, slide shows and films. There are reference books, DVDs, a playstation and board games. There is an indoor dining room and an al fresco eating deck. There is an additional sky lounge on the upper deck with a bar. At the bow there is a jacuzzi and sun loungers and ample deck space. Evolution has a boutique. She carries sea kayaks, snorkelling equipment and wet suits, free for passengers to use. Evolution is air conditioned throughout. There is a ship's crew of 18 plus 2 naturalist guides and a cruise director. 

Itineraries: Evolution offers 8-day itineraries. 

Children: Children of all ages are welcome. There are special family cruise departures with a kids’ club. 

Health: The Galapagos Islands are not a malarial area.
