My two daughters actually got to hold an anaconda that our guide caught while we were on a jungle walk!
We ran into a road block on the way back to our hotel in the Sacred Valley in Peru - it was caused by a parade commemorating the patron saint of Urubamba! Talk about lucky - these only happen once a year!!
