Holiday review by Mrs. Angela Birrell

Name: Mrs. Angela Birrell

Date of trip: 01/10/2013

Number of people: 2

Perhaps the most enchanting experience was watching a newborn topi, less than 10 minutes old, stand and take its first steps and suckle immediately.

We were fortunate to see a leopard both in the evening as we sipped our sundowners and then again the following morning as she descended the tree and moved off into open ground.

Tribes Overall:

As first time visitors to Kenya we did not know what to expect but our holiday exceeded our expectations.

Tribes Service:

With her personal experience Tracy was very helpful and patient in tweaking our itinerary.

At Kicheche Mara our guide/driver Joseph was outstanding taking us places where we were often alone and therefore able to fully enjoy the wildlife without the interruption of other vehicles. His knowledge of animals and their behaviour as well as his ability to locate them was outstanding. Always kind and helpful with a sense of humour too.

Social & Environmental Responsibility:

It helped in providing employment and for compensating local people for loss of grazing rights in the Conservancy.
