Village Lodge is built in the style of a traditional Bhutanese house and set in fertile farmland in the Paro Valley. Accommodation is simple but comfortable, with high ceilings, wooden floors and large windows. The rural location makes for a tranquil atmosphere.

There are 9 twin or double guest rooms, all with en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating. The restaurant serves a hearty breakfast each morning and offers both local and international dishes for dinner. After a day's trekking or sightseeing guests can relax in the lounge, enjoy a drink in NUTS bar or take in views of the Paro Valley from the terrace. There is a hot stone bath to ease aching muscles. Fax, printing and internet facilities are available and the lodge offers a laundry service
