Savute Safari Lodge has 12 thatched chalets and social areas arranged along the banks of the Savute Channel, currently in a dry cycle. This region is rich in wildlife and there are daily game drives to help you explore. If you're here from November to December or February to April you may witness the zebra migration, an impressive natural spectacle. From the lodge you can also visit Gubatsa Hills to see the ancient San rock art.

The lodge has a large viewing deck where you sit and watch elephants at the waterhole, plus a swimming pool and sun deck, also overlooking the waterhole, so you'll be able to enjoy wildlife even while resting between activities. The lounge, bar and library are in the 2-storey thatched building, shaded from the heat of the sun, and there's a dining terrace.

Chalets are set on raised decks and are cooled by fans. Each has a large open plan bedroom and sitting area, with doors opening out to the terrace. There's an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin and flush toilet, plus a range of toiletries. You can relax out on the terrace, looking out over the bush and enjoying a freshly made cup of tea or coffee.
