This hotel is at the top of Mount Kyaikhtiyo, just a five-minute walk from the famous Golden Rock Pagoda. From this position you get panoramic views of the valley below and you'll see some wonderful sunrises and sunsets. It's an attractive brick building with large windows and a tiled roof.

All guest rooms have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water. Standard rooms have ceiling fans while deluxe rooms also have satellite TV, telephone and minibar. There's a restaurant and a lounge cum bar, with the bar built around a large granite boulder.

The garden offers views of the pilgrims' pathway to the golden rock and is a good place to sit with a pre-dinner drink. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast of fruit, toast and cooked eggs, accompanied by tea and coffee.
