The villas are a short distance from the main building, accommodation is split-level, there's even a wood-burning stove and outdoor hot-tub. You'll feel like you're in your own lakeside getaway, miles from anyone or anywhere. There is also the 5 bedroom hacienda, occupied on a sole-use basis. It comes with a private chef and guide - perfect for multi-generational travellers or a small group. It was once the owners home, so you can expect a high standard of finish.

The food at Vira Vira is excellent. Carefully planned menus based on the farm-to-table concept, offer balanced lunches and dinners with a mix of local and international recipes. Ingredients are sourced from the organic vegetable gardens, the on-site cheese factory and local producers. The day starts with a healthy and scrumptious buffet and superb dishes continue through lunch and dinner.

Whilst there is no pool, the river runs right by the lodge and there are a couple of hot tubs and a spa, along with a yoga studio, there are plenty of places to enjoy a little relaxation.
