Treehouses for big kids!

There’s something quite special about sleeping in treehouses in Africa, India or wherever they may be. Treehouses can be rustic affairs or full-on luxury. Wake up to the sound of birdsong in the treetops, surrounded by nature.

As children, I'm sure many of us dreamed of having a treehouse; they represent a cosy adventure, excitement and a bit of natural magic. Sometimes the very fact that you feel a little vulnerable without the usual walls we're used to adds to the enjoyment.

Many of the treehouses we know of are surprisingly luxurious; some are up in the boughs, others are on stilts within trees, and some are on the ground but built around big old trees. Whichever is right for you, you'll have a very special place to stay.

We just loved our night in the Nest. It was so cosy and though it was open we felt so safe. An amazing experience.
