Who doesn’t like to feel spoilt on holiday? Those with deep pockets can choose from a plethora of stunning places to stay be they in the African bush, Latin America or Asia. The sheer variety on offer is mind-blowing, from tented camps, palaces, remote lodges and city hotels.

When we came back from our game drive, the butler had run a bubble bath with rose petals and left sherry and nibbles in our room. I still can't quite believe it!
