We loved the Arenal hanging bridges tour, the Sky Adventure zip lining, watching turtles lay eggs in Tortuguero and the beautiful warm waters of Tamarindo bay.

Guides:

Everyone we met, from the guide who picked us up from the airport to Fernando at Tortuguero and Roy at the Arenal hanging bridges tour, to Sky adventures at Monteverde was extremely helpful and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better service.

This hotel was really just a pit stop as we had so little time in San Jose. It was clean and comfortable.

Evergreen Lodge

Tortuguero National Park

Very practical lodge with a lovely pool area and excellent food. Amazing to see a sloth, monkeys, lizards, a snake and a huge toad just wandering round the gardens.

Lomas del Volcan

Arenal

We loved this place. It didn't even matter that it rained for hours on end as it is such a beautiful location and watching the tremendous storm from the veranda was a highlight The pool area was lovely and the breakfast healthy and plentiful.
