A lot of special moments .... The magic of Machu Picchu for 2 days, climbing Wayna Picchu and the fantastic views from the top Train journey through the Andes Sunset on Patchamama (Amantani island) at 4130m. Going back in time on Taquile island. Loved our stay at Palacio del Inka.

Excellent guides - all local people, very knowledgeable, professional , friendly. William at Machu Picchu took some fantastic photos of us as a family, Heidi at Titicaca spend 2 days with us and we felt sad when had to say good bye

Tourism brings income to a lot of people in Peru, helps keeping traditions in isolated communities

Lovely modern hotel.
Our bags were picked up from the station and we could go straight to Machu Picchu, then checked out in the morning and bags were brought for us at the station in the afternoon at the time of our train back to Cusco after the second day in Machu Picchu

Clean, basic accommodation but very friendly and kind people , lovely food. Cold at night but plenty of blankets to keep warm.
