Sleeping at the foot of Arenal volcano in an outside bath with parakeets and other beautiful birds in the trees right beside us. Magical. Lying in the lodge in shawanda with the scary sound on our first morning of the howler monkeys, we got used to them and looked forward to them after that. Being on Pacific coast spending hours in the warm sea playing with waves being amused by pelicans. Unforgettable experiences! Thank you

Tribes Overall:

Costa Rica lived up to all our expectations and a whole lot more. The country has so much to offer and lots of diversity - rainforest, two different coast lines, volcano, hot springs, wildlife and so so much more.

Good knowledge of local areas and spoke good English. Must learn more Spanish to help ease the language barrier.

Social & Environmental Responsibility:

Wildlife was what we went there for and managed to experience all our wishes.

Good start and finish to our holiday. Didn’t feel safe to go out though after dark so we ended up eating at the hotel.

Magical, we really enjoyed staying in our lodges, loved the abundance of wildlife right on our door step. Our only criticism would be the lack of opportunity to buy drinks during the day or some light snacks. We had an early start on two of our mornings there for excursions, we returned around 3ish and headed to the pool area to relax, a drink and snack was very much needed but unfortunately unavailable.

Wouldn’t spend longer than two days as completely different environment to the others, baron around hotel, but looked after really well,

No complaints, not quite to the same standard as the other locations and we did find a couple of members of staff rather grumpy which really surprised us as we had all commented about the friendliness of the people.
