Date of trip: 15/11/2018
Number of people: 2
Too numerous to mention. The countryside and lodges were so varied that it was never disappointing. The animals were amazing and the people were all so friendly and accommodating.
Tribes Overall:
Fantastic. It exceeded any expectations we had
Tribes Service:
Extremely positive. The amount and quality of the information supplied was truly great. All questions were answered and no stone left unturned. We thought Vamoos was a fabulous tool to have on our holiday and we referred to it daily.
Guides:
All guides were professional, very informative and personable. We saw everything promised and more.
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
Namibians were very environmentally aware and it was apparent during the entire holiday.
The places you stayed
Swakopmund Guest House
Namibia
Slightly disappointed with this accommodation. In its effort to be a quirky "seaside resort" it was all a bit tacky.
Lumpy pillows and soft furnishings faded and worn. That said the hosts were welcoming and helpful. The laundry service was very good value. Breakfast was ok but the eggs were not fresh.
Camp Kipwe
Namibia
Has to be the best place we stayed. Such a wonderful experience from beginning to end in every way. Accommodation, charming service, fine cuisine and a quality excursion with another quality guide.
Sundowners from the top of Kipwe were stunning.

Etosha Safari Lodge
Etosha
The largest accommodation on our itinerary and in need of a little refresh. Staff didn't seem to have the same knowledge or pride that we experienced elsewhere. The 3 pools were very poorly set-up with inadequate shade (only 2 old parasols at each pool and chairs for a max of 8-10 people). No fresh towels available and those we found were used and apart their best. The tours at Ns1000 were the most expensive in our trip.

Lovely. Another treat in the bush. We enjoyed the tented accommodation, the Lapa was beautifully set-up, the staff were charming and helpful and the dining was a pleasure. Nice pool, good towels & plenty of shade.

Okonjima Plains Camp
Okonjima & central highlands
The view room was stunning. Well organised game drives. We did one pm Leopard drive and one am Cheetah drive. Both successful and making the most of our one night stay which we felt was enough.

Olive Grove Guesthouse
Windhoek
A very comfortable and enjoyable last night in Windhoek with Joe's Beerhouse (not to be missed) just a walk away. Nice touch when we arrived back to find a nightcap of port and chocolate by our bed.
