Tribes Overall:

The holiday exceeded our expectations. Travelling with our guide/driver through the incredible landscapes and differing tribes we learnt so much about the culture as well as enjoying some wonderful wildlife experiences.

Tribes Service:

Sinead was incredibly helpful, understanding, quick to provide answers and provided for us a superb itinerary.

Guides:

Our guide/driver's knowledge was impressive and he (Harry) was able to talk about wildlife, landscape, geology, history and culture. The guides at the reserves were good.

Social & Environmental Responsibility:

We understand that our local agent puts part of their fees back in to the community. Obviously the hotels and local guides are supported by our visit. Certainly were it not for visits then the reserves would be under threat.

This was a comfortable stay. The lodge was well laid out and spacious. We were away from the beach so backed on to the road which was noisy at times. The food was good and we felt relaxed here.

Chalet at Setam Lodge

Setam is very convenient for the reserve so we had a couple of days of limited driving which was nice. The lodge was comfortable and the food good.

Accommodation at Le Jardin du Roy

A beautiful hotel. Lovely location. Fantastic lodge and lounge/restaurant. Food was good although given owned by a Frenchman we expected better food (and coffee). We were very comfortable here.

A real star! A bit of a pain to get to however well worth it as once through the doors a real haven of peace. The room was very comfortable and sitting by the pool in the afternoon very relaxing. The meal was good (no choice) in very elegant surroundings. A lovely end to our holiday before setting off home
