Holiday review by Mrs. Juliet Hanwell

We saw a turtle laying her eggs, this was a fantastic experience especially as the guides are very respectful towards the turtle
Wonderful wildlife and thrilling adventures.
This would be a rating of excellent if it wasn't for Leo at Tortuega, he was truly awful. Bombastic and patronising, he irritated all the Brits in the party. The rest of the guides were good or very good.
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
The Costa Ricans are very respectful of their beautiful environment and their wildlife.
The places you stayed
Fun funky hotel, nothing like the picture in our ring binder!
Tortuguero National Park
Good basic lodge, felt a bit like lemmings being carted around
Beautiful surroundings attracting birdlife including Humming birds
Lots of areas for quiet contemplation and bird watching
