It was all so special and exciting! But because it was our birthdays in Porini lion the Masai gave us both their dance and a cake, but it went to the wrong Richard! It was so funny the whole camp laughed! They really enjoy themselves doing this , we had so much fun! Also a lion pride brought down a wildebeest in the river ,we sat and watched for around 2 hours! Mud everywhere! But it was a good place for our sundowners! At Amboseli it was a very long day out but we saw lots of elephant herds ,but could not see mount Kilimanjaro! Shame but it was good viewing and quite wet! At Mara explorer ,was amazing we had some more rain but some very good viewing (except for the amount of vehicles) A definitely 5 star camp with amazing food and staff. All very worth while a trip of a lifetime!
Again as usual it was wonderful and amazing! Everything ran so smoothly and perfectly!
Of course ! 4 times now absolutely recommended!
All 3 camps were very good! At Porini Amboseli we had Daniel and spotter Richard, at Porini lion was Nelson and little John ,and at Mara explorer was Joseph. At each camp we saw lots of different animals but each and every driver made us feel safe and they were very caring about the animals too! All stars!
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
Very beneficial to the local Masai community! But as for the animals it was good in the conservancy ,but too many vehicles in the parks!
The places you stayed
Good would have liked a bit longer, but a good for a nights rest.
Amboseli National Park
The real bush experience ,basic but great staff!
Again very good ,proper bush experience , lovely food and staff.
Excellent. It lived up to its 5 star rating in all ways!
Kenya Coast & Lamu
It was good ,but we would do a bandb option,as there was a huge menu, but was not well stocked they didn't have half the things on it! Also service very slow! Staff were friendly though.
