We absolutely loved everything about the trip. To be honest there was so much to take in that it is all special in its own right. Amazing sunrises and sunsets across the ever changing scenery as we moved from camp to camp, Mokoro rides among elephants, hippos and crocodiles, watching 4 male lions feast on a freshly killed water buffalo, watching wild dogs hunting their pray, seeing elephants, giraffes, zebras and impalas all at the same watering hole, seeing a leopard climbing and jumping from a tree, close encounter with 7 lionesses whilst on foot, the bird life, seeing Hyena's feasting on a water bok, learning about how the San Bushmen live and getting to sit next to the pilot on one of the inter-camp flights. It is definitely a special trip that everyone should do at least once in their life. We look forward to our next adventure in the wild.

Tribes Overall:

The overall 10 day experience was first class. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Everything from internal transfers, to camp hospitality and guide knowledge was fantastic.

Tribes Service:

Alex Neaves has been excellent throughout the itinerary creation, booking process and providing all of the relevant information. I was particularly impressed with the Vamoos App that allowed offline maps and all of the information to be in one handy place. We booked this at very short notice so appreciated the timely responses from the initial inquiry I made, up until the final booking. Of course there was also plenty of follow up correspondence to check that we were happy with everything prior to departure.

Guides:

All of the Guides- Jo at Ghoha Hills, Walter at Delta camp, Ninja at Khwai and Vasco and his tracker Zimbo at Tau Pan were all very knowledgeable, helpful and professional.

The places you stayed

Sunrise from your deck at Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge

Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge

Chobe & Savuti

Truly wonderful place to stay. It even has a few of the creature comforts such as WiFi and in-room charging stations should this be desirable. The Managers and staff were all super friendly and the food was great.

Tau Pan

Tau Pan Camp

Botswana

Amazing. Totally secluded in central Kalahari. The rooms are fantastic with their own viewing/relaxation deck. They even put on a surprise in room dining experience for us on our last night to celebrate my partners 40th. Again the food and staff were fantastic.
