The whole adventure was simply amazing from start to finish. All the travel arrangements went like clockwork and we were greated at all destinations with a smile.

Tribes Overall:

Completely lived up to our expectations. We enjoyed every minute of it

Tribes Service:

We do thank Paul at Tribes for the time and patience in preparing the itinerary for us and also for making the bespoke adjustments to fit our requirements.

Edwardo in Quito looked after us really well and we totally enjoyed the City tour.
Roberto on the Anahi in the Galapagos was very organised and made each and every excursion all the more interesting. We were helped over and above the call of duty when Ray had a bad fall. Both Roberto and a member of the ships crew dealt with everything in a calm and professional manner.
Our two guides in the Amazon were Juan and Rene. They were brilliant, extremely knowledgeable and interesting as well as friendly and attentive.

Social & Environmental Responsibility:

We certainly felt the aims of all involved were to maintain the habitat of the wild life.

Lovely small hotel in the old town.
Although there was some work being completed to the air conditioning, the manager apologised personally.
Nice restaurant.

Anahi, Galapagos

Galapagos Islands

There were 12 of us aboard and the crew were friendly and attentive.
Everything was well organised and we were always offered an alternative when we did not wish to join the main activity. An example was when most people were snorkelling we were taken on a boat ride.
The food aboard was basic.

Silberstein Hotel

Silberstein Hotel

Galapagos Islands

Fairly small hotel with friendly service at reception.
However we were disappointed with the selection at breakfast. It was possibly just bad timing as all the tables were being used or had not been cleared and there was very little food out. By the time we left it had been replenished but that was too late.

Anakonda on the Rio Napo

MV Anakonda

By far the best.
The boat is magnificent, very modern, clean and spacious.
Everywhere was maintained in spotless condition and every time we returned to our room it had been cleaned and tidied and was a pleasure to return to.
The rooms have huge picture windows which are superb whilst sailing.
Each and every staff member played their part in making the trip the best experience and always used our names.
The food was superb.
