The highlights were seeing the Gorillas in the wild, hard trekking but wonderful experience having a family of gorillas feeding all around. Also the chimpanzees were great to observe and we were lucky enough for them to come down to the ground and were very close to us, within a couple of feet at times. We also saw tree climbing lions, in a tree, hyenas feeding, had a masterclass in how to sleep by a leopard, and many other great experiences.
Tribes Overall:
We had high expectations of the experiences that were possible during our holiday. All were as good or exceeded our expectations.
Tribes Service:
The process of booking with Tribes was good, resulting in a holiday that we wanted.
The only hiccup was on arrival at Entebbe the guest house were not aware of our flight plans and there was no representative at Entebbe airport. This led to some uncertainty of where we were flying to and we nearly missed our planned destination stop. However once we were met by our guide at Kihihi everything went very smoothly.
Guides:
Our guide, Benjamin, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was good company with a sense of humour and was a pleasure to have guiding us.
His driving was good despite the poor roads.

The rooms and facilities were good, food was OK. Situation was very good, we saw a troop of colobos monkeys outside our chalet within an hour of arrival.
