It's clear the people love their country, and it's quite apparent all that the government does to protect it. This national attitude is something we've never come across before, it's quite refreshing! It's also great to see how genuinely excited the locals and guides get during a rare wildlife encounter e.g. jumping Mobula rays, humpback whale encounter.
Tribes Overall:
Awesome place, would recommend to anyone
Tribes Service:
Top notch
Guides:
Very skilled, knowledgeable and all round enthusiastic, especially Corcovado
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
For such a responsible country, you do start to wander if some areas are a little overwhelmed by the level of tourism e.g. Manual Antonio, it's a bit odd to see people entering / walking through the national park just to go sunbathing on the beach. This thought was echoed by other people we spoke to (although it was mainly being compared against Corcovado).
