The Taj Mahal is probably the most beautiful building we have ever seen, and also the golden temple at Amritsar was magical at night for the Holy book ceremony and a real feeling there of a living community. It was special to find out more about the Tibetan community in Dharmsala and to stay in such a variety of amazing hotels and Guest houses
Yes exceeded our expectations for our first visit to India
Yes Paul veryhelpful and was able to make a tour that suited our requirements. All paperwork useful prior to departure
Guides were all knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their area.
Drivers good in what seemed difficult conditions to our eyes !
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
Hopefully helpful in giving employment
The places you stayed
Lovely position near lake and delightful rooftop terrace for meals.
A really lovely experience staying in this attractive fort hotel with beautiful gardens in the centre.
Rooms were individual and attractively furnished and the food delicious.
Music and lighting in the gardens made it magical
We loved this quirky hotel in the battlements. The staff were so kind and friendly and made drinks and snacks when needed as the nearby restaurant was not in operation The rooftop terrace had amazing views
Beautiful hotel with lovely gardems for dining.an a delightful swimming pool terrace and bar
Unusual circular cottage style rooms well equipped and very comfortable.
We enjoyed the Rajistani thali meal provided here.
Mrs Deepali Sing was extremely helpful here and the accommodation was reminiscent of the days of the British Raj. Old photos and furniture of the era. The food was very good both breakfast and home cooked evening meal
Great position close to the entrance to the Taj Mahal, views of it from bedroom
Lovely rooftop terrace for dining.
