Having to pool in Casa Luna to ourselves. The traditional Costa Rica experience was awesome from seeing bullet ants and poison dart frogs, through to supper on the balcony looking east, in Monteverde what a nighttime experience. Durian beach resort in Tamarindo is a beautiful resort to enjoy a cocktail in the pool to watching the wildlife and searching for shells as the sun rises. The sunset cruise on the ship in Tamarindo was something else especially being our anniversary. As a family we thoroughly enjoyed the Splash night exoerience through the wilds of Costa Rica.

Tribes Service:

Tracy Edwards and Tribes certainly know their destinations. Their knowledge of Costa Rica is second to none, and was worth every single penny. Nothing was too much for Tracy, in ensuring our holiday was planned to perfection. The choice of hotels and resorts were perfect.

Guides:

From Rodrigo in the Monteverde rainforest, to Roberto who took the best photographs and air dropped to our phones, right through to the interbus courteous drivers, all made the adventure completely enjoyable.

Social & Environmental Responsibility:

Costa Ricans are a wonderful race and no wonder they are in the happy top ten. Wildlife is really amazing with interbus drivers taking time to stop and show you the wildlife.you don’t need TV or newspapers in C.R, as the wildlife is second to none, as were the resorts and hotels.

From the very friendly staff to the rooftop restaurant and bar as the sun was setting . Awesome hotel and staff with the best breakfast.

Trapp Family Hotel

Monteverde

Staff were good. Only downside was the room in the basement was quite cold. With not a great view. But facilities and everything else was great. Bit gutted the Postcards we have reception to post haven't landed 4 weeks on ?
Great hotel to base yourself and explore Monteverde.
