Seeing and being in a completely different culture was eyeopening. Learning about their heritage and the difficulties arising with the advancement of education is a challenge in keeping it all alive. It was great to see that all beliefs are living together with not conflict we could see.
Tribes Service:
Paul was especially helpful in changing what we wanted having looked at his itinary for us.
Guides:
The driver we had was brilliant at driving but his command of the English language could have been better. However the actual guides we had at various destinations were excellent.
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
At various places we stayed at, not on the tourist route, we found out that our driver, Ameer, didn't have a bed at the end of the day! Seeing he had worked hard on the dreadful roads, the least the hosts can offer is a bed.
The places you stayed

Kerala Houseboat
India
Most enjoyable but surprised at the number of houseboats. We had to ask for the double bed to be re made into twin beds.

Marari Beach Resort
India
Very comfortable with plenty of activities. Again we had to ask for the double bed to be re made into twin beds.

The boat was fine but we weren't forwarned that it was like the Norfolk Broads on a busy bank holiday 10times over.We weren't too impressed with the actual area we were in, surely there could have been somewhere less busy.

Marari Beach Resort
India
I was hoping for a yoga lesson here but glad I never partook in the one offered as I am complete beginner and would've suffered.I had an Arabian swim instead, which was the best.
The food, little thatched cottage. location and music during our evening meal was great.
