Holiday review by Mr. Philip Hughes
Name: Mr. Philip Hughes
Date of trip: 01/02/2017
Number of people: 2
Being the only vehicle with a male lion for some time. Finding lion cubs less than a week old. and seeing vast numbers of cheetah. Hearing the lions roaring outside the tents! Having enough time to actually watch animal behaviour and reactions within groups of animals.
Tribes Overall:
The accommodation was excellent, the staff were brilliant. The only reason this trip did not live up to expectations was not due to Tribes but the fact that there was a drought and therefore we did not get to see the migration herds which we had particularly gone to see.
Tribes Service:
Everything worked seamlessly, and Christine has been very helpful in providing the trip that we wanted and sorting out any queries or requests we had. We would book with Tribes again.
Guides:
Our guide was a very good and cautious driver and very considerate of other guides in the parks. He had exceptional knowledge both of wildlife, local people and customs. He always willing to answer any questions we put to him and was very patient with us and was one of the reasons our holiday went so well.
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
Not sure how to answer this, but we found many aspects of our holiday educational and hope that we contributed, even in a small way to help in providing employment for local people and ensuring the parks are funded adequately for the future of the wildlife.
