The white water rafting was brilliant. The views from the raft were amazing, beautiful waterfalls and canyons. The horse riding trip was great. So peaceful and such a good way to enjoy the countryside. The days scuba diving at Catalina islands is one of the best days diving we have ever had. I didn't expect to see so many beautiful waterfalls and it was so refreshing to swim around the waterfalls. The scenery throughout the country was varied and very beautiful.

Exceeded our expectations. Just wish we could have stayed for another week to see more of Costa Rica.

Paul dealt with numerous emails and phone calls from when arranging our holiday. He was always happy to make suggestions but listened to what I actually wanted. We were delighted that he had interpreted my requests into exactly the sort of holiday we wanted.He managed to get the right style of accommodation and atmosphere that really suited us.

Guides:

All our guides were knowledgable and had a created a good rapport with us. I felt they enjoyed their work and telling us about their culture and life in Costa Rica.

Social & Environmental Responsibility:

Costa Rica seems to be very aware of environmental responsibilities. The country is very clean. Evidence of recycling is prominent and the people are keen to promote and respect their environment.

Staff very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Great views from our balcony.
Superb food in the restaurant.
A great place to relax after the long flight.

The caribbean area seems very laid back with numerous backpackers so this hotel was probably the one most suited to us in that area. Bungalow accommodation was very good, clean and private. The gardens were nice attracting birds and colourful frogs. The restaurant staff were good and the food was good, however the reception staff were poor and seemed indifferent in their manner.

Such a beautiful setting. The views of the volcano as a backdrop to the hotel gardens whilst having breakfast is wonderful. Views from your bungalow were equally amazing.
All the staff here were very good and reception staff were outstanding.

Bahia del Sol

Playa Potrero, Guanacaste

Would have liked to have put excellent here but the restaurant let it down slightly as the staff were not very attentive.
The location is excellent.
We had an deluxe room and it was superb but all the rooms looked very nice.
Reception staff very good.
