Generally very good. It would have been helpful to have been told what to expect at San Jose airport - it took almost 2 hours on entry to clear immigration and customs, And no warning that we would have to pay departure tax before checking in on out return

Guides:

Some of the best guides we have ever had. Knowledgeable, helpful etc. Also drivers did more than just drive us - plenty of commentary on what we were seeing

A fantastic first night stop. Views to die for. And the opportunity for short walks in the area to get aclimatised the next morning. Really pleasant staff

Trapp Family Hotel

Hotel was very good. Really friendly and helpful staff.
Disadvantage was being in the cloud forest, It was very cold with a strong wind blowing all the time. Absolutely no chance of being outside. Whereas a mile or two down the road there was no wind and sunshine. So given the chance stay a little lower down
