Carol enjoyed the paddle boarding (she was the only one to do it!).We both liked the snorkelling sessions and seeing Christian the steward with refreshments when we came back on board was a very welcome sight. The crew show on the penultimate evening was very good and a lot of talent was on display. The skipper was a very amiable young man and he was happy to show us the bridge and talk about his family.
Tribes Overall:
The holiday completely lived up to our expectations
Tribes Service:
We had no problems here
Guides:
Both guides were very knowledgable and demonstrated a high level of care on safety, particularly on the water activities.
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
Clearly ecotourism is the mainstay of the islands but we shared our guides concern that some mainland politicians in Ecuador have more commercial aspirations for this delicate region of the country.

There were a few niggles with the room; we had to ask a few times for the safe to be made operable and a requested bath hat never arrived. Breakfast was good on the first morning and the boxed breakfast on departure day was more than adequate.

Everything was to a high standard; the food was excellent and the daily briefings very comprehensive.
