Holiday review by Mr David Hawkins
Name: Mr David Hawkins
Date of trip: 03/08/2016
Number of people: 2
We are not extroverts and generally travel alone as a couple. But we did very much enjoy the cameraderie of the party on our Salkantay trek. Also deeply moving was the blessing ceremony from the "Inca shaman" at the Huaymantay glacier lake. Mountain Lodges gave us unexpected treats every day - and we enjoyed every moment.
Tribes Overall:
This was an incredibly rich experience, with unexpected treats exceeding expectations every day.
Tribes Service:
Paul Cook put in a lot of effort for us and also gave us valuable insights before we got there.
Guides:
Especially Pepe Noriega from Mountain lodges of Peru and Nancy in Lima.
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
We are seasoned travellers, and we have returned from this trip with a deepened respect for our planet and an intention do do more to help save what we have left of it.
