Tribes Service:
Sinead was very helpful and knowledgable in the booking stages. Everything went smoothly on the ground. The Safari Destinations representative in Maun was exceptionally helpful when we had a small flight booking problem at the end of out safari.
It would be helpful to add times to the itinerary (especially for flights) wherever this is known in advance. Also, in our case, there were one or two minor inconsistencies between the booklet and the final itinerary which were a bit confusing.
Guides:
Three of four guides were excellent, one (at Moremi Crossing) was a bit less engaged and informative.
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
Sango especially was providing support to the local village. Use of renewals was generally very good. We worried a bit about the number of disposable plastic bottles being used for water - other camps had re-usable bottles and a central supply, which seemed much better.
The places you stayed

Waterberry Lodge
Zambia
Wonderful place! Expensive but still good value. They had thought ahead and helped us to make the most of our short visit. Service was superb and very friendly.

Sango Safari Camp
Okavango Delta
We loved the small, intimate camp and the wonderfully welcoming staff. Game viewing was superb, especially being able to go off-road and stay out a bit after dark.

Moremi Crossing
Okavango Delta
We preferred smaller camps but staff here were again very welcoming. Game walks were an excellent complement to the drives at Sango.

Tau Pan Camp
Botswana
Like Sango this small camp was superb. Guide and bushmen trackers were great. The environment is awesome. Game viewing wonderful, All staff friendly and welcoming. First rate!
