Holiday review by India First Timers
Name: India First Timers
Date of trip: 29/01/2016
Number of people: 2
We'd love to go back and explore more of India. The people were friendly and helpful, the places fascinating. The colours in Jaipur were beautiful.
Met on time at both destinations by pleasant, friendly representatives.
Paul was always ready to help with advice and with ironing out a few problems.
The factual knowledge of guides in both Delhi and Jaipur was excellent. They took great care in taking us to eat and drink in tourist friendly, hygienic places. (including street food places)
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
Be prepared for a hard sell on rugs and clothing at the Textile company chosen by your guide in Jaipur. It was interesting to see the making of rugs and clothing and we did have some clothes made which were delivered to us that evening. The rugs were beautiful but not an impromptu buy at over £800.
The places you stayed
Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. Our room, although spacious and well equipped, was quite noisy being on the ground floor by the car park, especially when there was an evening celebration occurring.
The hotel is within walking distance of the metro system and Lodhi Gardens( a peaceful haven from the chaos of Old Delhi)
The staff were helpful.
