Swimming into a cave and being surrounded by 8 large marine turtles, 2 sea lions deciding to play with me in the open sea, lazing in hot springs after a volcano trek, wandering through frigatebird nesting colonies, watching penguins, boobies and flightless cormorants dive whilst under water ourselves, varied and exotic bird, reptile and mammalian life, excellent food, lovely hotels.

Exceeded all expectations especially as we had been to Galapagos before.

Tribes Service:

Perhaps the info re yellow fever should be stressed and noted earlier. Our own travel clinic assured us we didn't need it ! Also perhaps inform customers about the accepted exceptions - over 60's, transplants etc.

Guides:

All worked to give us what we wanted, responding to our particular interests.

Social & Environmental Responsibility:

At no point did we feel there was any conflict of interest between the trip and the environment.

Great setting in old city, easy to walk to all sites of interest, nice rustic atmosphere.

Difficult to assess with little to compare it to. A bit cramped and noisy but what can you expect on a small craft with only 16 passengers. Excellent for getting around and making landings away from others. Great crew and really good food.

A unique setting and construction, wished we had more time here. Super gardens and birdlife and beautiful food.

Fantastic position with superb grounds. Wonderful wildlife within the grounds, lovely pools, panoramic bar to watch sunset over the pacific is hard to beat.
