one of the funnier moments was being given the honeymoon banda after requesting a twin bedded room.
Tribes Service:
Many thanks for sorting out our missed connection problem, in retrospect a 1 hour gap between flights was never going to work. The organisation in Tanzania was excellent, they managed to get us on a later flight to a different airstrip further from the lodge, but the driver was there waiting for us when we arrived, the longer drive from the airstrip to the lodge turned out to be one of the better drives of the holiday, with more variety of animals and larger numbers.
Guides:
Our guide Joseph was an excellent careful driver who did his very best to ensure that we would see as much as possible

Unfortunately at this time of the year the beach had been washed away.TRIBES REPLY: This is a natural phenomenon. The northern Kaskazi winds can sometimes blow sand away revealing rock beneath from about January to April. From June through the rest of the year the beach is sandy though.
