Bird watching from the balcony was brilliant....if only we'd known what we were looking at (we had a book but there were so many and they were so quick!).

Tribes Overall:

Asalem was disappointing. Shabby accommodation, not up to the standards we had requested.

Tribes Service:

Paul was superb. Efficient, knowledgeable and.....patient!

Guides:

Vicente in Rio was superb, very knowledgeable and flexed the tour to suit our interests.

Social & Environmental Responsibility:

Money appeared to be going to local people rather than corporations. Asalem was environmentally friendly and in keeping with the island.

Shabby and dated. For the money this was disappointing. We were in the older accommodation, though asked to change but couldn't. The bathrooms were particularly average.
