Snorkelling with sealion pups in Galapagos.

Guides:
Marking applies to guides in Quito and Napo. Guide in Guayaquil was excellent, guide in Galapagos was average.
Due to the rain our guide at Napo did not want to take us to the second clay lick. Instead we went on a 1 and 3/4 hour walk, mainly in mud, through an agricultural area which we found disappointing. Fortunately our local guide, Pato, did some bird-watching with us (and others) at the back of the group.
Response from Tribes: When it rains in the rainforest it does get muddy and the parrots don't come down to the clay licks. There is usually lots of interestig flora and fauna to be seen around, however, regardless of the rain.
