Really good holiday. It was our first trip to South America and I must say we were really taken with it all.
The places you stayed
This was a airport hotel, we stayed there for one short night. It was very convenient for the airport and adequate for our needs.
We really liked this hotel, couldn't fault it. We had two separate stays and stayed in two different rooms both very nice. Staff were very helpful, polite and accommodating. Possibly one of my most favourite hotels.
We stayed here for just one night so was adequate for our needs.
This hotel was okay but our room was no better than average. However, the guided walk around the orchid garden and tea plantation was excellent.
Nice hotel and lovely room. Centrally located and convenient for having quick look around Quito.
Northwest of Quito
Fab hotel. The guides were great and kept us busy all the time. Quite enjoyed the long transfer from Quito to Mashpi our guide did a good job.
I think we got the best boat in the Galapagos and I think we also got the best naturalist. The crewe were excellent as well. There were just sixteen guests and from what I saw I would recommend anyone thinking of going on a cruise in the Galapagos to go for a small boat. Our naturalist Rafael Pesantes was brilliant he was knowledgeable, informative and good fun.
