Tribes Overall:

It was excellent in terms of customer service, accommodation and food. The wildlife was rather more shy than we have experienced elsewhere which was disappointing but we enjoyed it all the same. The guides too were outstanding throughout.

Guides:

Outstanding throughout. Maybe one person shouldn't stand out but Emiel at Jongomero was brilliant.

Social & Environmental Responsibility:

Generally good - local people are employed in all the camps but there is a worry that guides will try too hard to get close to animals which are already suspicious rather then letting them be in their environment. Watching the release of hatched turtles was amazing at Ras Kutani.

Accommodation was excellent with nice outside shower. The surprise boat lunch was a charming thought.

Again excellent - layout of tents very good indeed with nice porchway where teas/coffees could be left for you in the morning. Excellent management and staff couldn\'t do enough to please. Also outstanding walking safari with Emiel. Dining on the river bed was an experience not to be forgotten nor were the surprsie breakfasts.
