Except for the travel arrangements - see box above.
Small point but it would have been good to have been told that no alcohol is served anywhere in Quito after 4 pm every Sunday.
Alex and the drivers Ivan and Marco were wonderful in and around Quito, as were the two fantastic guides on the Letty. They were brother and sister, Ivan and Karina Lopez.
Maybe a different i.e. 4 wheel drive vehicle would have been better for Cotopaxi.
Social & Environmental Responsibility:
Tourism is of growing importance to Ecuador. The Galapagos cruise operator in Galapagos are very much aware of the environment and encourage conservation in every way.
The places you stayed
It was great and fit for purpose. The cabins are necessarily small but comfortable. The sun deck could do with more furniture. I had not realised that I had booked the 'worst' cabins (Iguana Deck) with virtually not view out and bunks rather than beds.
