Holiday review by Doctor Caroline Russell

Name: Doctor Caroline Russell

Date of trip: 28/06/2013

Number of people: 2

On Mumbo Island we would walk to the other side of the island after breakfast to a tiny beach where we would be all alone to swim in the warm sea, listening to the fish eagles and watching the kingfishers.

Sitting in the safari vehicle watching 17 lionesses and young from the Mwamba Pride all sitting together under a tree, with one very handsome male on guard, I suddenly realised how close we were and how unperturbed they were at sharing their siesta with us.

Tribes Overall:

Every bit as good as expected.Lovely remote camps with lots of wildlife

Tribes Service:

Tracy organised everything brilliantly for us. It all went according to plan.

Guides:

All guides we had were friendly, enthusiastic and very well informed. It helped make the holiday more enjoyable and interesting

Social & Environmental Responsibility:

It made us aware of Project Luangwa which helps local children go to school and become aware of their important environment.
