Day 1
Arrive, To Lakaz Chamarel
Arrive at Mauritius airport. You will be met and driven to your hotel in a beautiful part of south west Mauritius. Settle in and relax after your journey.
Dinner
Day 2; At Lakaz Chamarel
Lakaz Chamarel is set in a picturesque valley near the Black River Gorges National Park. This is a side of Mauritius the majority of visitors never get to see. The mountains and valleys of the interior are a peaceful haven of nature waiting to be explored. The hotel is set in 12 acres of tropical gardens. Guests are encouraged to go for nature walks with or without a guide, explore by bike or simply relax and enjoy the lodge's tranquil location.

Days 3-4
At Lakaz Chamarel
Two more days to enjoy and explore inland Mauritius. Lakaz Chamarel has 2 swimming pools, a sauna and spa, as well as a cosy living room with a stereo system and a TV room stocked with books and board games. Food is a highlight here, with a daily continental and cooked breakfast, delicious snacks at lunchtime and a 3-course meal for dinner. Your husband and wife hosts and their dedicated team of local staff will ensure your stay is a pleasure.

Day 5
To Preskil Beach Resort
After breakfast you will be collected and driven to Preskil Beach Resort on the south east of the island. The hotel is located on a natural private peninsula near the village of Mahebourg. There is a choice of restaurants and bars, and snacks and drinks can also be enjoyed on the beach. You have five days to enjoy this ocean front setting and all the facilities on offer.

Day 6
At Preskil Beach
The hotel offers a great many water sports free of charge to guests, so you can try windsurfing, water skiing, sailing, canoeing or maybe take a glass bottom boat ride to explore the clear ocean waters. Other activities can be arranged and paid for locally such as catamaran cruises, dolphin watching and excursions to the Ile aux Aigrettes Nature Reserve. You'll have plenty to do!

Day 7
At Preskil Beach
A day to relax on the coast. Preskil Beach Resort has 2 swimming pools, one with a whirlpool, as well as its own private beach. There are tennis courts and a fitness centre, plus s sauna and steam bath for relaxing. Why not spoil yourself at Ylang Spa, where you can indulge in a range of treatments from massage to body wraps.

Days 8-9
At Preskil Beach
Two more days to enjoy life at Preskil Beach Resort. When it comes to dining, there is a choice of restaurants and bars including a steak house, a tapas grill, a beach bar and the main restaurant which serves both local and European dishes. As well as the beach, the hotel also has tropical gardens where guests can relax. If you want to venture further afield there are bikes to rent or you can walk to nearby Mahebourg to explore its markets, museums and restaurants.

Depart
It is the final day of your Mauritian holiday. You will be collected from the hotel and driven the short distance to the airport, for your flight home.
