Day 1

Buenos Aires

On arrival at the airport, you are whisked away to your hotel. Later this afternoon you’ll start to explore this amazing city with a tour of the southern districts. Explores La Boca’s colourful Caminito, San Telmo’s cobblestone streets and antique markets. Each stop promises rich history, vibrant culture, and unforgettable experiences.

Day 2

Buenos Aires

Having explored the southern neighbourhoods, today it’s the turn of northern Buenos Aires. Explore the distinguished neighbourhoods of Retiro, Recoleta, and Palermo. Stroll through lush parks, down grand avenues lined with mansions and embassies, and enjoy top-class designer shops and gourmet restaurants. In Recoleta, visit the famous cemetery, the resting place of Evita Perón. Each locale promises a blend of history, sophistication, and vibrant culture. Dinner tonight will be accompanied by a tango show at Michelangelo.

Day 3

Estancia Experience

Experience a full day at El Ombú Ranch, just outside Buenos Aires. Immerse yourself in the authentic gaucho lifestyle. Savour a traditional asado BBQ, enjoy folk music and an amazing demonstration of the gauchos skills. There will be some leisure time to explore the estancia on foot, on horseback or in a carriage. A perfect blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation awaits. The evening is at leisure back in Buenos Aires.

Day 4

To Iguazú

A morning flight will transfer you to Iguazú. This afternoon you will get your first experience of the might falls from the Brazilian side – don’t forget your passport!. Iguazú Falls is made up of 250 waterfalls. Enjoy panoramic views of this magnificent spectacle, walk along scenic trails, and experience the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat up close. This excursion offers breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable natural beauty. The it’s back to Argentina for the rest of the day.

Day 5

Iguazú Falls

Today you have a private guide to show you the Argentinian side of the natural wonder. A 20-minute ecological train ride transports visitors to the breathtaking Devil’s Throat, the 80-meter-high, horseshoe-shaped fall. See if from another perspective. Continue to explore the falls via the Upper and Lower Circuits: the Upper offers panoramic views from stunning lookout points like Dos Hermanas and Bosetti, while the Lower Circuit leads to serene lagoons formed by the cascading waterfalls. Truly a magnificent experience!

Day 6

To Salta

A flight will take you to Salta, a beautiful colonial city nestled in the Lerma Valley. Surrounded by dramatic Andes mountains and lush valleys, Salta is a gateway to breathtaking natural attractions, including the Calchaquí Valleys and the Salinas Grandes salt flats more on that tomorrow. This afternoon you have a private tour of the city taking in the lively plazas, bustling markets, and warm, friendly atmosphere make it a captivating destination.

Day 7

Purmamarca & Salinas Grandes

Embark on a full-day private tour to Purmamarca and Salinas Grandes. Start by exploring the charming village of Purmamarca, situated at the base of the stunning Seven Color Hill. Wander through its vibrant markets and soak in the rich cultural heritage. You’ll have free time to grab some lunch and explore. Then journey across picturesque mountain roads to the vast, gleaming white expanse of Salinas Grandes. Wander across the salt flats, marvel at the stark, otherworldly landscape and capture unforgettable photos before returning to Salta.

Day 8

To Cafayete

A driver collects you for the drive to Cafayate along the impressive Quebrada de las Conchas. This charming town, known for its picturesque vineyards, produces exceptional Torrontés wine. The surrounding Valles Calchaquíes provide breathtaking scenery with dramatic rock formations and colourful canyons. The mild climate, welcoming atmosphere, and blend of natural beauty and cultural richness make Cafayate a must-visit destination.

Day 9

Cafayate

Embark on an exquisite wine tour in Cafayate, visiting two of its renowned local wineries. The vineyards of the area are some of the highest in the world. Wines are predominantly produced from the Torrontés grape which makes fruity white wine. Afterwards pay a visit to the Wine Museum before returning to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 10

To Buenos Aires

Catch a flight back to Buenos Aires for your final night in Argentina. You’ll be back in familiar surroundings. What better way to end your trip than with a Fogón asado experience. This is more than just a meal so come hungry; it’s a celebration of Argentina’s culinary traditions, complete with lively conversation and a warm, convivial atmosphere. In this case it’s an 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Sit at the bar and watch the experts at work showcasing their skills as the prepare and cook classic cuts of meat using different techniques. Asado is synonymous with Argentinian culture, and this is a great way to end your trip.
