Northern Argentina

Enjoy Argentina’s less-visited northern reaches.  Beginning and ending in Buenos Aires you have the opportunity to get under the skin of this amazing, vibrant city.  Enjoy a tango show, guided city tours and a trip out to a local estancia to see the gauchos at work.

Getting off the beaten track a little head north to Iguazu and see and hear the cascading waterfalls from both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides – if you’re going to come all this way to see the falls, we think it should be shown off in all its glory.

Visit the colonial city of Salta and from here take a tour out to Purmamaria, barter at the local market and then head on to the impressive Salinas Grandes. Travel onward through interesting rock formations to Cafayate. This is high altitude wine country.  Take a tour to a couple of wineries to sample the wares.

Your final night is spent back in Buenos Aires where we’ve organised a delicious asado with wine pairing – an appropriate experience to round off your holiday to this amazing country. You will want to come back for more.
