The camp was the first Eco lodge in Kenya and is renowned for its Italian cuisine.
Amboseli National Park
You wake to enjoy the incredible views of Kilimanjaro then you head out for a bush breakfast and morning game drive. This area is a photographer's paradise, with green wetlands providing a home for more than 600 species of birds as well as lion, cheetah, Cape buffalo and wildebeest. After lunch back at the camp and perhaps a cooling swim in the pool, you will go on a walking safari with a Maasai guide, the best way to get close to nature, before stopping in a scenic spot for sundowners and returning to Tortilis in time for dinner.

Making the most of your time in this world-famous reserve with its amazing numbers of wildlife, you will have an early breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive. What a great start to the day - breakfast will be served on the banks of the Sand River! Then you are taken to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Serengeti. Depending on when you travel, you will either stay at Serengeti Pioneer Camp or Serengeti Migration Camp - both are equally stunning, with wonderful views, and even if the migration is not there wildlife here is generally excellent.
If it's important to you to see the migration, let us know and we will advise you about this.
Serengeti National Park
A full day to spend in the Serengeti, with a game drive and dinner or lunch in the bush. Migration Camp is in northern Serengeti by the Grumeti River which is sometimes witness to the exciting migration river crossings, and if you're at Pioneer Camp in the south from around late December to March you will be in a prime location to see the awe-inspiring mass-movement of hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras, with the pursuing predators, as they make their way across the vast plains. Whichever camp you choose, and whatever time of year, the Serengeti always surprises you.
