Day 1

Arrive at the coast

Whether you've just been on safari or are having a stand-alone beach holiday on Kenya's stunning coast, you'll be looked after every step of the way. Whether you start in Mombasa or at Diani or another airstrip, you'll be met by a local representative and safely transferred to your chosen accommodation where you can begin your relaxing holiday by the sea. You'll be shown to your room where you can make yourself at home. Unpack, relax and soak up the views. Later, make your way to the lounge, and meet fellow guests and enjoy your first evening meal.

Day 2

At the coast

Fully rested, wake to the sound of waves lapping the shore, or palms rustling in the breeze. When you are ready, wander over to the restaurant for breakfast, it's always a leisurely affair. While you enjoy a coffee you can decide what to do for the day. You can take advantage of water based activities that your resort or one of the local operators may offer. Most of the hotels have their own pool where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in between topping up your tan. Your time is your own, there's no pressure here.

Day 3

At the coast

You should be fully immersed in the relaxed way of beach life by now. Take a gentle stroll along the beach at low tide, perhaps you might like to don some snorkel gear and see explore beneath the surface. You may see local fisherman out on the waters or watch them bring their catch ashore. Those could be the very fish served up for tonight's menu. If the sun is too strong, shady seating back at the hotel is always welcoming. With no demands on your time, you can take each day as it comes.

Day 4-5

At the coast

With two more full days at your disposal, you can relax or explore to your hearts content, it really is up to you. If you want to venture out there are local villages to visit and local markets are always fun to experience. Depending on which hotel you decide on there will be other local points of interest and excursions that you can enjoy. All of this with a backdrop of the ocean. After a day out exploring, what could be better than coming back to your friendly hotel to relax and enjoy dinner.

Depart

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Today you'll be driven back to the airport or airstrip in time to connect with your flight home.
